CHOWDER n.
A seller of fish. [Prov. Eng.] Halliwell. Chowder beer, a liquor made by boiling black spruce in water and mixing molasses with the decoction.
CIDERKIN n.
se pomace in water. Ciderkin is made for common drinking, and supplies the place of small beer. Mortimer.
CISTERN n.
An artificial reservoir or tank for holding water, beer, or other liquids.

A mixture of beer, spirit, etc., stirred and heated by a hot iron. Flip dog, an iron used, when heated, to warm flip.
