TWILL n. 4 definitions
A fabric women with a twill.
TWILLY n.
inder covered with long iron spikes or teeth; a willy or willying machine; -- called also twilly devil, and devil. See Devil, n., 6, and Willy. Tomlinson.
ARMURE n.
A variety of twilled fabric ribbed on the surface.
BEAVERTEEN n.
A kind of fustian made of coarse twilled cotton, shorn after dyeing. Simmonds.
BOMBAZET; BOMBAZETTE n.
A sort of thin woolen cloth. It is of various colors, and may be plain or twilled.
BOMBAZINE n.
