SUTURE n. 8 definitions
een the bones of the skull; also, such an articulation itself; synarthrosis. See Harmonic suture, under Harmonic.
SUTURED a.
Having a suture or sutures; knit or united together. Pennant.
ASTERION n.
point on the side of the skull where the lambdoid, parieto- mastoid and occipito-mastoid sutures.
BREGMA n.
The point of junction of the coronal and sagittal sutures of the skull.
CANNULATED a.
affording a passage through its interior length for wire, thread, etc.; as, a cannulated (suture) needle. [Written also canulated.]
CORONAL a.
