Hence, anything which is square, or nearly so; as:
SQUARE-RIGGED a.
ally by the middle, as distinguished from fore-and-aft sails; thus, a ship and a brig are square-rigged vessels.
SQUARE-TOED n.
Having the toe square. Obsolete as fardingales, ruffs, and square-toed shoes. V. Knox.

A mineral relating to the zeolites, usually occurring in square prisms or octahedrons with pearly luster on the cleavage surface. It is a hydrous silicate of calcium and potassium.
