SINUS n. 7 definitions
An opening; a hollow; a bending.
SINUSOID n.
The curve whose ordinates are proportional to the sines of the abscissas, the equation of the curve being y = a sin x. It is also called the curve of sines.
SINUSOIDAL a.
Of or pertaining to a sinusoid; like a sinusoid.
ANTRUM n.
A cavern or cavity, esp. an anatomical cavity or sinus. Huxley.
ARAGUATO n.
A South American monkey, the ursine howler (Mycetes ursinus). See Howler, n., 2.
ASS n.
