A kind of plastic cement, or artificial stone, consisting chiefly of magnesia and silica; -- called also albolite.
ALLANITE n.
A silicate containing a large amount of cerium. It is usually black in color, opaque, and is related to epidote in form and composition.
AMPHIBOLE n.
columnar structure. The color varies from white to gray, green, brown, and black. It is a silicate of magnesium and calcium, with usually aluminium and iron.
