PHENETOL n.
The ethyl ether of phenol, obtained as an aromatic liquid, C6H5.O.C2H5.
CAMPHENE n.
One of a series of substances C10H16, resembling camphor, regarded as modified terpenes.
COLOPHENE n.
A colorless, oily liquid, formerly obtained by distillation of colophony. It is regarded as a polymeric form of terebenthene. Called also diterebene.
CORYPHENE n.

PHOSPHENE n.

A sulphur hydrocarbon, C4H4S, analogous to furfuran and benzene, and acting as the base of a large number of substances which closely resemble the corresponding aromatic derivatives.

A median process on the front part of the neural arch of the vertebræ of most snakes and some lizards, which fits into a fossa, called the zygantrum, on the back part of the arch in front.
AZOLE n.
ee subclasses of azoles, which may be regarded as derived respectively from furfuran, thiophene, and pyrrol by replacement of the CH group by nitrogen; as, furo-monazole. Names exactly analogous to those for the azines are also used; as, oxazole, diazole, etc.
