OFFERING n. 3 definitions
The act of an offerer; a proffering.
HEAVE OFFERING n.
An offering or oblation heaved up or elevated before the altar, as the shoulder of the peace offering. See Wave offering. Ex. xxix. 27.
AFFRONT n.
t which excites or justifies resentment; marked disrespect; a purposed indignity; insult. Offering an affront to our understanding. Addison.
ALTARAGE n.
The offerings made upon the altar, or to a church.

Offering a choice of two things.
