NUDIBRANCH a. 2 definitions
Of or pertaining to the Nudibranchiata. -- n.
NUDIBRANCHIATA n.
A division of opisthobranchiate mollusks, having no shell except while very young. The gills are naked and situated upon the back or sides. See Ceratobranchia.
NUDIBRANCHIATE a.
Same as Nudibranch.
ANTHOBRANCHIA n.
A division of nudibranchiate Mollusca, in which the gills form a wreath or cluster upon the posterior part of the back. See Nudibranchiata, and Doris.
CERATOBRANCHIA n.
A group of nudibranchiate Mollusca having on the back papilliform or branched organs serving as gills.
