HOOK n. 11 definitions
or bent into a curve or at an angle, for catching, holding, or sustaining anything; as, a hook for catching fish; a hook for fastening a gate; a boat hook, etc.

Having a strongly curved bill.
HOOK-NOSED a.
Having a hooked or aquiline nose. Shak.

A pipe with a long, flexible stem, so arranged that the smoke is cooled by being made to pass through water.
