FIBULA n. 3 definitions
A brooch, clasp, or buckle. Mere fibulæ, without a robe to clasp. Wordsworth.
FIBULARE n.
The bone or cartilage of the tarsus, which articulates with the fibula, and corresponds to the calcaneum in man and most mammals.
INFIBULATION n. 2 definitions
The act of clasping, or fastening, as with a buckle or padlock.
CALCANEUM n.
of the bones of the tarsus which in man, forms the great bone of the heel; -- called also fibulare.
