FETAL a.
Pertaining to, or connected with, a fetus; as, fetal circulation; fetal membranes.
ALLANTOIN n.
A crystalline, transparent, colorless substance found in the allantoic liquid of the fetal calf; -- formerly called allantoic acid and amniotic acid.
CEPHALOTOME n.
An instrument for cutting into the fetal head, to facilitate delivery.
CEPHALOTOMY n.
Craniotomy; -- usually applied to bisection of the fetal head with a saw.
