EXPEDITION n. 3 definitions
edite; efficient promptness; haste; dispatch; speed; quickness; as to carry the mail with expedition. With winged expedition Swift as the lightning glance.

Of or pertaining to an expedition; as, an expeditionary force.
EXPEDITIONIST n.
