ELLIPSOID n.
A solid, all plane sections of which are ellipses or circles. See Conoid, n., 2 (a).
ELLIPSOID; ELLIPSOIDAL a.
Pertaining to, or shaped like, an ellipsoid; as, ellipsoid or ellipsoidal form.
