CYANURIC a.
Pertaining to, or derived from, cyanic and uric acids.
CYANURIC ACID n.
an organic acid, C3O3N3H3, first obtained by heating uric acid or urea, and called pyrouric acid; afterwards obtained from isocyanic acid. It is a white crystalline substance, odorless and almost tasteless; -- called also tricarbimide.
ISOCYANURIC a.
Designating, or pertaining to, an acid isomeric with cyanuric acid, and called also fulminuric acid. See under Fulminuric.
BIURET n.
rogenous substance, C2O2N3H5, formed by heating urea. It is intermediate between urea and cyanuric acid.

A salt of cyanuric acid.

Pertaining to fulminic and cyanuric acids, and designating an acid so called. Fulminuric acid (Chem.), a white, crystalline, explosive subatance, H3C3N3O3, forming well known salts, and obtained from the fulnunates. It is isomeric with cyanuric acid, and hence is also called isocyanuric acid.
