Indistinctly crystalline; -- applied to rocks and minerals, whose state of aggregation is so fine that no distinct particles are visible, even under the microscope.

Distinctly crystalline; -- used of rocks. Opposed to Ant: cryptocrystalline.

Half crystalline; -- said of certain cruptive rocks composed partly of crystalline, partly of amorphous matter.

Imperfectly crystallized.
