CITRUS n.
A genus of trees including the orange, lemon, citron, etc., originally natives of southern Asia.
BERGAMOT n.
A tree of the Orange family (Citrus bergamia), having a roundish or pear-shaped fruit, from the rind of which an essential oil of delicious odor is extracted, much prized as a perfume. Also, the fruit. (b) A variety of mint (Mentha aquatica, var. glabrata).
CEDRAT n.
Properly the citron, a variety of Citrus medica, with large fruits, not acid, and having a high perfume.
CITRANGE n.

ORANGE n.
The fruit of a tree of the genus Citrus (C. Aurantium). It is usually round, and consists of pulpy carpels, commonly ten in number, inclosed in a leathery rind, which is easily separable, and is reddish yellow when ripe.
SHADDOCK n.
A tree (Citrus decumana) and its fruit, which is a large species of orange; -- called also forbidden fruit, and pompelmous.
