The cerebellum. Derham.
CEREBELLAR; CEREBELLOUS a.
Pertaining to the cerebellum.
CEREBELLUM n.
The large lobe of the hind brain in front of and above the medulla; the little brain. It controls combined muscular action. See Brain.
AMYGDALA n.
One of the rounded prominences of the lower surface of the lateral hemispheres of the cerebellum, each side of the vallecula.

Situated beneath the peduncle; as, the subpeduncular lobe of the cerebellum.

A fold of the dura mater which separates the cerebellum from the cerebrum and often incloses a process or plate of the skull called the bony tentorium.
VALLECULA n.
A groove; a fossa; as, the vallecula, or fossa, which separates the hemispheres of the cerebellum.
