Under, or lower in place; beneath not so high; as, below the moon; below the knee. Shak.

To treat as a lout; to talk abusively to. [Obs.] Camden.

To put a furbelow on; to ornament.

In or to a higher place; higher than; on or over the upper surface; over; -- opposed to below or beneath. Fowl that may fly above the earth. Gen. i. 20.
