PYRENOID n.
A transparent body found in the chromatophores of certain Infusoria.
PYROPHANE n.
mineral which is opaque in its natural state, but is said to change its color and become transparent by heat.

A genus of transparent, free-swimming marine worms having lateral and caudal fins, and capable of swimming rapidly. It is the type of the class Chætognatha.
