CONSONANCE; CONSONANCY n.
Accord or agreement of sounds produced simultaneously, as a note with its third, fifth, and eighth.
COO v.
To make a low repeated cry or sound, like the characteristic note of pigeons or doves. The stockdove only through the forest cooes, Mournfully hoarse. Thomson.

The part of a writing (as the stub of a bank check) in which are noted the main particulars contained in the corresponding part, which has been issued.
COUNTERPOINT n.
The setting of note against note in harmony; the adding of one or more parts to a given canto fermo or melody.
