PEAKING a.
Pining; sickly; peakish. [Colloq.]
PERDITION n.

A reserve force in the Turkish army, or a soldier of the reserve. See Army organization, above.
REIS EFFENDI n.
A title formerly given to one of the chief Turkish officers of state. He was chancellor of the empire, etc.
