CYCLOSTOME n.
A division of Bryozoa, in which the cells have circular apertures.
CYNOIDEA n.
A division of Carnivora, including the dogs, wolves, and foxes.
DAKOTA GROUP n.
A subdivision at the base of the cretaceous formation in Western North America; -- so named from the region where the strata were first studied.

A head or chief over ten; especially, an officer who commanded a division of ten soldiers.

DEDUPLICATION n.
The division of that which is morphologically one organ into two or more, as the division of an organ of a plant into a pair or cluster.

A division, space, or interval, marked on a mathematical or other instrument, as on a thermometer.
DELPHINOIDEA n.
The division of Cetacea which comprises the dolphins, porpoises, and related forms.
