One of no certain belief; one belonging to no particular sect.
OCTOGENARIAN n.
A person eighty years, or more, of age.

Of or pertaining to a coast.
OSCILLARIA n.
A genus of dark green, or purplish black, filamentous, fresh- water algæ, the threads of which have an automatic swaying or crawling motion. Called also Oscillatoria.

PEDICELLARIA n.
A peculiar forcepslike organ which occurs in large numbers upon starfishes and echini. Those of starfishes have two movable jaws, or blades, and are usually nearly, or quite, sessile; those of echini usually have three jaws and a pedicel. See Illustration in Appendix.

A group of simple marine organisms, usually classed as the lowest of the sponges. They have inflated hollow bodies.

An extensive division of birds which includes the woodpeckers, toucans, trogons, hornbills, kingfishers, motmots, rollers, and goatsuckers. By some writers it is made to include also the cuckoos, swifts, and humming birds.
