HABERDASHER n.
A dealer in small wares, as tapes, pins, needles, and thread; also, a hatter. [Obs.] The haberdasher heapeth wealth by hats. Gascoigne.
HABERDASHERY n.
The goods and wares sold by a haberdasher; also (Fig.), trifles. Burke.
HATCH n.
An opening in the deck of a vessel or floor of a warehouse which serves as a passageway or hoistway; a hatchway; also; a cover or door, or one of the covers used in closing such an opening.
HAWKER n.
One who sells wares by crying them in the street; hence, a peddler or a packman.
