PHOTOGRAVURE n.
A photoengraving; also, the process by which such a picture is produced.
PHOTOMECHANICAL a.
aphic process in which a printing surface is obtained without the intervention of hand engraving.

The act of offering a book, pamphlet, engraving, etc., to the public by sale or by gratuitous distribution. The publication of these papers was not owing to our folly, but that of others. Swift.

Purple, -- represented in engraving by diagonal lines declining from the right top to the left base of the escutcheon (or from sinister chief to dexter base).
