SYSTEMATIC; SYSTEMATICAL a.
Affecting successively the different parts of the system or set of nervous fibres; as, systematic degeneration. Systematic theology. See under Theology.
TAENIA n.
A band; a structural line; -- applied to several bands and lines of nervous matter in the brain.
TARANTISM n.
A nervous affection producing melancholy, stupor, and an uncontrollable desire to dance. It was supposed to be produced by the bite of the tarantula, and considered to be incapable of cure except by protraced dancing to appropriate music. [Written also tarentism.]

Full of tendons; sinewy; as, nervous and tendinous parts of the body.
