DIAGOMETER n.
roscope, invented by Rousseau, in which the dry pile is employed to measure the amount of electricity transmitted by different bodies, or to determine their conducting power. Nichol.

An apparatus for distributing an electric current, either to various points in rotation, as in some motors, or along two or more lines in parallel, as in a distributing system.

An instrument for augmenting a very small quantity of electricity, so as to render it manifest by sparks or the electroscope.
