Hemiplegia.

Any bird of the genus Turnix. Various species inhabit Asia, Africa, and Australia.

An insoluble, proteid substance, described by Schützenberger, formed when albumin is heated for some time with dilute sulphuric acid. It is apparently identical with antialbumid and dyspeptone.
