DELEGATE v.
To send as one's representative; to empower as an ambassador; to send with power to transact business; to commission; to depute; to authorize.
DEMUR v.
te; to put off the determination or conclusion of an affair. Upon this rub, the English embassadors thought fit to demur. Hayward.
