BLOATED p.
Distended beyond the natural or usual size, as by the presence of water, serum, etc.; turgid; swollen; as, a bloated face. Also, puffed up with pride; pompous.
BLOATER n.
The common herring, esp. when of large size, smoked, and half dried; -- called also bloat herring.
BLOTTING PAPER n.
A kind of thick, bibulous, unsized paper, used to absorb superfluous ink from freshly written manuscript, and thus prevent blots.
BODY n.
The shank of a type, or the depth of the shank (by which the size is indicated); as, a nonpareil face on an agate body.
BOLT n.

A coarse cloth of linen or hemp, stiffened with size or glue, used in garments to keep them in the form intended, and for wrappers to cover merchandise.

A genus of land snails having an elongated spiral shell, often of large size. The species are numerous ingabundant in tropical America.

Magnitude of material substance; dimensions; mass; size; as, an ox or ship of great bulk. Against these forces there were prepared near one hundred ships; not so great of bulk indeed, but of a more nimble motion, and more serviceable. Bacon.

A person employed to ascertain the bulk or size of goods, in order to fix the amount of freight or dues payable on them.
