DRAWROD n.
A rod which unites the drawgear at opposite ends of the car, and bears the pull required to draw the train.
ELECTRODE n.
The path by which electricity is conveyed into or from a solution or other conducting medium; esp., the ends of the wires or conductors, leading from source of electricity, and terminating in the medium traversed by the current.

Inflammation of the stomach and duodenum. It is one of the most frequent causes of jaundice.

GOLDEN-ROD n.
ul elongated cluster. The name is common to all the species of the genus Solidago. Golden-rod tree (Bot.), a shrub (Bosea Yervamora), a native of the Canary Isles.

A genus of extinct oölitic fishes, having rounded teeth in several rows adapted for crushing.
