GLACIER n.
w, and moving slowly down a mountain slope or valley, as in the Alps, or over an extended area, as in Greenland.
GRATE n.
f basket, of iron bars, for holding fuel while burning. Grate surface (Steam, Boiler) the area of the surface of the grate upon which the fuel lies in the furnace.
HECTARE n.
A measure of area, or superficies, containing a hundred ares, or 10,000 square meters, and equivalent to 2.471 acres.
