LUFFA n. 3 definitions
he staminate borne in racemes, and large fruits with a dry fibrous pericarp. The fruit of several species and the species themselves, esp. L. Ægyptiaca, are called dishcloth gourds.
LUNGWORM n.
Any one of several species of parasitic nematoid worms which infest the lungs and air passages of cattle, sheep, and other animals, often proving fatal. The lungworm of cattle (Strongylus micrurus) and that of sheep (S. filaria) are the best known.

A glucoside found in the seeds of several species of lupine, and extracted as a yellowish white crystalline substance.
