AFFECT v.
To dispose or incline. Men whom they thought best affected to religion and their country's liberty. Milton.
AFFILIATE v.
To connect or associate one's self; -- followed by with; as, they affiliate with no party.
AFFIX v.
To fix or fasten in any way; to attach physically. Should they [caterpillars] affix them to the leaves of a plant improper for their food. Ray.
