PLURI- n.
A combining form from L. plus, pluris, more, many; as pluriliteral.
POLYNOMIAL n.
An expression composed of two or more terms, connected by the signs plus or minus; as, a2 - 2ab + b2.
POSITIVE a.
e. [R.] -- Positive quantity (Alg.), an affirmative quantity, or one affected by the sign plus [+]. -- Positive rotation (Mech.), left-handed rotation. -- Positive sign (Math.), the sign [+] denoting plus, or more, or addition.
