FUNGOUS a.
Of the nature of fungi; spongy.
FUNGUS n.
Any one of the Fungi, a large and very complex group of thallophytes of low organization, -- the molds, mildews, rusts, smuts, mushrooms, toadstools, puff balls, and the allies of each.
