MONOPETALOUS a.
Having only one petal, or the corolla in one piece, or composed of petals cohering so as to form a tube or bowl; gamopetalous.
MULTIFID a.
Having many segments; cleft into several parts by linear sinuses; as, a multifid leaf or corolla.
NECTARY n.
That part of a blossom which secretes nectar, usually the base of the corolla or petals; also, the spur of such flowers as the larkspur and columbine, whether nectariferous or not. See the Illustration of Nasturtium.
