ARTICULATE a.
Jointed; formed with joints; consisting of segments united by joints; as, articulate animals or plants.
ARTICULATION n.
One of the parts intercepted between the joints; also, a subdivision into parts at regular or irregular intervals as a result of serial intermission in growth, as in the cane, grasses, etc. Lindley.
ARTIFICER n.
A military mechanic, as a blacksmith, carpenter, etc.; also, one who prepares the shells, fuses, grenades, etc., in a military laboratory.
