NOSOLOGY n. 2 definitions
A systematic arrangement, or classification, of diseases.
OBELUS n.
ark [thus ---, or ÷]; -- so called as resembling a needle. In old MSS. or editions of the classics, it marks suspected passages or readings.
OBLATI n.
A class of persons, especially in the Middle Ages, who offered themselves and their property to a monastery. Addis & Arnold.
OBSERVATORY n.
A building fitted with instruments for making systematic observations of any particular class or series of natural phenomena.

A Linnæan class of plants, in which the flowers have eight stamens not united to one another or to the pistil.
