EPISPASTIC n.
An external application to the skin, which produces a puriform or serous discharge by exciting inflammation; a vesicatory.
EQUILIBRIUM n.
Equality of weight or force; an equipoise or a state of rest produced by the mutual counteraction of two or more forces.
ERGOTINE n.
gent alkaloid extracted from ergot as a brown, amorphous, bitter substance. It is used to produce contraction of the uterus.
