AGED a.
Belonging to old age. "Aged cramps." Shak.
AGGRESS v.
To commit the first act of hostility or offense; to begin a quarrel or controversy; to make an attack; -- with on.
AGGRESSOR n.
The person who first attacks or makes an aggression; he who begins hostility or a quarrel; an assailant. The insolence of the aggressor is usually proportioned to the tameness of the sufferer. Ames.
AGIST v.
To take to graze or pasture, at a certain sum; -- used originally of the feeding of cattle in the king's forests, and collecting the money for the same. Blackstone.

A triple prayer in the sacrifice of the Mass, beginning with the words "Agnus Dei."
AGONIC a.
Not forming an angle. Agonic line (Physics), an imaginary line on the earth's surface passing through those places where the magnetic needle points to the true north; the line of no magnetic variation. There is one such line in the Western hemisphere, and another in the Eastern hemisphere.

able; to resemble; to coincide; to correspond; as, the picture does not agree with the original; the two scales agree exactly.

ir sac, sometimes double or variously lobed, in the visceral cavity of many fishes. It originates in the same way as the lungs of air-breathing vertebrates, and in the adult may retain a tubular connection with the pharynx or esophagus.

Drawn in air; imaginary. This is the air-drawn dagger. Shak.

Relating or belonging to air; high in air; aërial; as, an airy flight. "The airy region." Milton.
