INTIMIDATION n.
ntimidated; as, the voters were kept from the polls by intimidation. The king carried his measures in Parliament by intimidation. Paley.

To modulate the voice in a musical, sonorous, and measured manner, as in reading the liturgy; to intone.
INTONE v.
To utter a prolonged tone or a deep, protracted sound; to speak or recite in a measured, sonorous manner; to intonate. Pope.

A measure of energy or work done, being the amount expended in raising one kilogram through the height of one meter, in the latitude of Paris.
