INFERIOR a.
Situated below some other organ; -- said of a calyx when free from the ovary, and therefore below it, or of an ovary with an adherent and therefore inferior calyx.

The formation of ova or eggs in the ovary, and the discharge of the same. In the mammalian female the discharge occurs during menstruation.
PARIETAL a.
Attached to the main wall of the ovary, and not to the axis; -- said of a placenta.

A small mass of tubules near the ovary in some animals, and corresponding with the parepididymis of the male.
