ACNODAL a.
Pertaining to acnodes.
ACNODE n.
An isolated point not upon a curve, but whose coördinates satisfy the equation of the curve so that it is considered as belonging to the curve.

One of the Cyprinodontidae, a family of fishes including the killifishes or minnows. See Minnow.

nct reptiles having the jaws armed with a horny beak, as in turtles, and in the genus Dicynodon, supporting also a pair of powerful tusks. Their remains are found in triassic strata of South Africa and India.

Relating or belonging to the echinoderms.
