IMPUBERAL a.
Not having arrived at puberty; immature. In impuberal animals the cerebellum is, in proportion to the brain proper, greatly less than in adults. Sir W. Hamilton.
LARVA n.
The early, immature form of any animal when more or less of a metamorphosis takes place, before the assumption of the mature shape.
MARSUPIAL a.
Having a pouch for carrying the immature young; of or pertaining to the Marsupialia.
MARSUPIALIA n.
