CRANIOSCOPY n.
Scientific examination of the cranium.
DOLICHOCEPHALIC; DOLICHOCEPHALOUS a.
Having the cranium, or skull, long to its breadth; long-headed; -- opposed to brachycephalic. -- Dol`i*cho*ceph"al, a. & n.
EMISSARY a.
Applied to the veins which pass out of the cranium through apertures in its walls.

An accumulation of liquid within the cavity of the cranium, especially within the ventricles of the brain; dropsy of the brain. It is due usually to tubercular meningitis. When it occurs in infancy, it often enlarges the head enormously.

Having the ratio of the length to the breadth of the cranium a medium one; neither brachycephalic nor dolichocephalic.
