PLUFF n.
f, as of smoke from a pipe, or of dust from a puffball; a slight explosion, as of a small quantity of gunpowder. [Scot.]

ive power. Emerson. Plus sign (Math.), the sign (+) which denotes addition, or a positive quantity.
POSITIVE a.
