TUNNEL n.
nel shaft, a pit or shaft sunk from the top of the ground to the level of a tunnel, for drawing up the earth and stones, for ventilation, lighting, and the like.
TUSCHE; TUSHE; TOUSCHE n.
A lithographic drawing or painting material of the same nature as lithographic ink. It is also used as a resistant in the biting-in process.
