BAIL n.
nment, by becoming surely for his appearance in court. The bail must be real, substantial bondsmen. Blackstone. A. and B. were bail to the arrest in a suit at law. Kent.
BAILABLE a.
Having the right or privilege of being admitted to bail, upon bond with sureties; -- used of persons. "He's bailable, I'm sure." Ford.
BAILPIECE n.
A piece of parchment, or paper, containing a recognizance or bail bond.
